CyberPowerPC has returned to the stage to reveal a new line of liquid-cooled gaming laptops. The Tracer VI Edge Pro Liquid Cool series is expected to debut with top-of-the-line components from NVIDIA and Intel.
All the previous Tracer Series laptops came with a standard heat-pipe cooling solution. However, the Tracer VI Edge Pro Liquid Cool laptop comes with an extra liquid-cooled heat pipe that spans across the primary heat sinks. This supplies noticeably higher cooling levels to help gamers keep their laptops in peak condition and prevent heat buildup.
Better yet? The entire system was designed with noise prevention in mind. That means no more load fans kicking on when things start to get hot.
Typical gaming laptops generate up to 48 decibels of noise, while CPU and GPU temperatures can reach 188 degrees Fahrenheit. The Tracer Series can minimize noise to 35 dBA and lower CPU and GPU temperatures to a cool 143 degrees (at least by CPU standards).
The external reservoir on these laptops can be quickly connected or detached from the back to provide active liquid cooling at any time. Together with the internal liquid-cooled heat pipes, the Tracer series provides better thermal performance than ever before seen in laptops.
The Tracer Series packs a punch
The Tracer VI Edge Pro Liquid Cool Series incorporates cutting-edge computer technologies to help customers achieve high-performance processing and get an advantage over their competitors. The new CyberPowerPC laptop comes with Intel’s new 12th Gen Core mobile CPU series (Intel Core i9-12900HK), which has a grand total of 14 cores divided between 6 performance cores and 8 efficiency cores.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30-Series is also used in the new Tracer Series, providing some of the best graphics performance currently available. So don’t worry, you don’t have to sacrifice portability for performance. These high-end GPUs bring visual realism and immersive gaming experiences with NVIDIA’s Ray-Tracing technology. NVIDIA technologies like DLSS and Reflex also contribute to the competitive advantage that gamers demand.
But the new Tracer VI Edge Pro Liquid Cool series still includes some of its predecessor’s best features. The gaming laptops include a compact 26.6mm height that makes them ultra-portable. The laptop also has a 15.6″ QHD 240Hz screen with a maximum resolution of 2560×1440, which is one of the best resolutions and refresh rates of any gaming laptop on the market.
